Event Recap
Did you miss our stuffed animal adoption booth at Access to Adventure? Here’s a peek at how children welcomed their new friends home.
We loved meeting families, sharing a creative activity, and seeing each child make the experience their own.
Decorating take-home bags
The first stop was our little decoration station! Children used stickers and gems to personalize a Little Larks bag for their new friend. There was no single way to decorate it — each child chose the colors and details they liked and made something that felt like theirs.
Choosing a stuffed animal
Next, it was time to meet the stuffed animals. Children looked through the baskets and chose a friend to bring home.
Making it official
Once they found their friend, children gave them a name and filled out a Little Larks adoption certificate with the help of Ms. Griffin. The certificate included a promise to give their new friend lots of love, care, and adventures.
Finally, their stuffed animal and personalized bag were ready to head home together.
Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who visited Little Larks at Access to Adventure, and a big thank you to Support for Families for having us!
Our next free community booth is at The Great Hauntway at Sunset Dunes on October 25, from 1–4 PM. We hope to see you there!
