Parent Policies

These policies apply to all Little Larks events, including workshops, process-art sessions, seasonal events, camps, and private events. These policies outline what families can expect from Little Larks, and what we ask of guardians in return. They’re written in plain language for this website. The complete enrollment agreement and program-specific policies will be provided during registration. Families must review and sign all required documents before participation.

Attendance, Drop-off & Pickup

Please arrive on time and use our sign-in and sign-out process for each session. Only guardians and adults listed as authorized on your registration may pick up a child; we may ask for photo ID if we don’t recognize you.

Health & Illness

Please keep your child home if they have a fever, are contagious, or aren’t feeling well enough to participate. Allergies, medical conditions, and medications are shared as part of your registration forms so we can plan appropriately.

Behavior & Guidance

We use positive, age-appropriate guidance to support children through big feelings and group activities. If a child’s behavior puts themselves or others at risk, we’ll contact a guardian and work together on next steps.

Photos & Media

Little Larks will request separate written permission before using an identifiable photograph or video of a child on our website, social media, or promotional materials. Declining photo permission will not affect a child’s ability to participate.

Weather, Cancellations & Refunds

Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled, moved indoors, or canceled for weather or safety reasons. Cancellation, refund, and make-up policies for specific workshops, sessions, camps, and events are listed at registration and in your enrollment agreement.

Enrollment Agreement & Waiver

Before your child’s first session, guardians review and electronically sign a complete enrollment packet, including a liability waiver. That signed agreement, not this page, is the governing document for your enrollment.

A Note on Licensing

Whether a specific Little Larks program is required to hold a California child-care license depends on its structure, ages served, schedule, and supervision model. We are confirming our classification with California Community Care Licensing, and these policies will be updated to reflect any licensing requirements once that review is complete.
